I’m Humayun, a 30-year-old professional who takes great pride in giving my best to whatever I do. I started my professional life in 2016, working in the fast-food industry. For almost five years, I learned how to handle pressure, manage time, and work as part of a team. Those years taught me discipline and responsibility, but deep down, I knew I wanted more. I wanted to grow in an industry that had a future, something dynamic, something that would keep evolving with time.

That desire for growth pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and explore new opportunities. It was a big decision, leaving behind what was stable to start fresh in an industry I knew nothing about. But I was ready to take that risk.

In May 2021, I began a completely new chapter in my life. When I entered the world of e-commerce, I didn’t know much about it. But I had the passion to learn, and I gave it everything I had. I spent countless hours understanding how things worked, asking questions, and learning from every mistake.

My efforts soon began to show results. Within 15 months, I was promoted to Supervisor, leading a small team of two. That first promotion meant a lot, it was proof that dedication pays off.

Just four months later, I was promoted again, this time to Senior Supervisor, leading a team of eight. Each new position brought more challenges, but also more growth. I learned how to manage people, make decisions under pressure, and keep improving both myself and my team.

After about 10 months, I was promoted to Assistant Manager, another milestone that reminded me how far I had come since my first job behind a fast-food counter. I continued to push myself and took every new challenge as a chance to grow further.

After 11 more months, I earned another big step, Operations Manager. This role helped me see things from a broader perspective and allowed me to grow as a leader, not just as an individual contributor.

And finally, in October 2025, I achieved the biggest milestone of my career, my promotion to General Manager. Reaching this level was a dream come true. It represented years of effort, sacrifice, sleepless nights, and the belief that every small step forward counts.

Looking back, I feel proud and grateful. From a fast-food worker with no background in e-commerce to a General Manager leading teams and driving results, it has been an incredible journey.

For me, this isn’t just about titles or promotions. It’s about growth, both personal and professional. It’s about proving that no matter where you start, if you stay consistent, keep learning, and never give up, you can go beyond what you once thought was possible.

This journey has shaped not just my career, but also who I am today and as I look ahead, I know that the best chapters are still being written.
