The struggle started in 2019 when I was hired as a virtual assistant at IZOC Solutions. I was a newcomer to the world of e-commerce at the time, and I had no idea where I was going. As time passed, I began to learn some amazing things in this field. After 4-5 months of training, I was assigned a big task that turned out to be a fantastic success. I had to handle a client directly. It was a make-or-break situation for me because success would have increased my credibility, while failure would have suggested otherwise. I put my all into that project and was eventually able to handle it well.
Then I started progressing in my career with the passage of time, and in September 2020, I had the huge achievement of being a supervisor at IZOC Solutions. This one was amazing, as it was an enormous success in a very short period of time. But, as we all know, success does not come without challenges, and I had to deal with the same difficulties. Two to three well-trained members of my team abruptly resigned at one point. I was also concerned about my work and how I would handle it. But, with the help of my teammates, I was able to win that battle as well, and I managed the tasks along with the team with great patience and sincerity.
So, the tough times passed, and the good times came.
In October 2021, I was promoted to the position of senior supervisor. This achievement surpassed my expectations, marking three years of perseverance and growth at IZOC Solutions.
However, 2022 brought fresh challenges as I assumed responsibility for project management. Navigating transitions and onboarding new clients presented hurdles, but I tackled them head-on, driven by determination and commitment.
In May 2023, I achieved another milestone in my career with a promotion to assistant operations manager at IZOC Solutions. This milestone symbolized the culmination of years of dedication and hard work, and I’m proud of it.
This was all made possible by the assistance of my organization, team lead “Bilal Khokhar,” and my dedicated teammates.
Finally, in August 2024, I achieved the milestone of becoming the operations manager. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of my team and the guidance of senior management.
Reaching this goal took me 1 year plus, during which I faced various challenges, including retaining clients who were engaged in short-term projects. Despite these hurdles, my team and I remained steadfast, working diligently to convince clients of the long-term benefits of partnering with us.
Collaborating with multiple clients elevated my skill set, with guidance from all the GMs—Mr. Usman, Mr. Umer, Mr. Hiddayat, and Mr. Nadeem at Spectrum, facilitating both my personal and professional growth. Throughout this journey, amidst ups and downs, the learning experience at IZOC Solutions remained constant.
I am profoundly grateful to Allah Almighty for the strength bestowed upon me and thankful to every individual at IZOC Solutions for their unwavering support, both directly and indirectly. Special thanks to Mr. Saad Bhai (CEO) for the opportunity to be part of this exceptional team, which feels like home.
I firmly believe that with patience, consistency, and unwavering dedication, anyone can conquer challenges and reap the rewards of hard work.
Finally, I’d like to point out that you can win a battle on your own, but you always win wars when you fight as part of a team.
